Transfer Process

To transfer from another BAC international union you will need to make sure your dues are up to date at your current union hall and then you come into either the Edmonton hall 10724 113 St.  between 8-4 Monday thru Friday or the Calgary hall 5325 1a st SW between 7:30 - 3:30 Monday to Friday to fill out the transfer form. We will need two forms identifying your current address in Alberta ie. drivers license, lease/rent agreement, utility bill. Once the form is complete we will send the transfer form to your previous hall as well as BAC International. 

Benefits for Transfer Members

There is no cost to transfer to Local 1 from another BAC international union.

Belonging to Local 1 as an apprentice means employers train you how to safely do your job, and as you advance from apprentice to journeyperson your wage will increase according to our contract (60% journeyperson rate at first year 80% at second and 90% at third year).
