Welcome to the International Masonry Institute - Edmonton Training Centre
Bricklayer Apprenticeship Training will soon be offered through Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local#1 Alberta training arm, IMI Edmonton.
Bricklaying apprenticeship training is comprised of three (3) periods of technical training. Training is completed in eight (8) week blocks for each year.
In addition to technical training at school, apprentices are required to gain 1540 hours of experience in on-the-job training for each level of apprenticeship.
IMI Edmonton will be utilizing an approved AIT curriculum that aligns with existing training in the province to ensure continuity and success for all existing and future apprentices.

All current and aspiring bricklayers. Our apprenticeship program is open to everyone, union and non-union apprentices alike. We welcome everyone who has interest and passion for the masonry trade, and we look forward to helping you in your trowel trades education on a path to a great career. |
